Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome back!

I hope that you had a relaxing summer and you are as eager to get back to school as we are. Many of our faculty and staff have been working during July and August to prepare their classrooms and lessons and to develop new ideas for our school. In addition, our custodial staff has been working tirelessly to prepare the building for you. HDMS looks better than ever!

I expect the 2010-2011 school year will be our best yet, and I know our teachers feel the same way. We are all looking forward to seeing you on August 30th. 

Students, please remember to bring your school supplies including a one inch binder for your agenda book and a pair of sneakers and socks for our grade 7/8 Fit For Life program.

Parents, please remember to check our district calendar for upcoming events. You are invited to attend our Welcome Back School Community Meeting on Monday afternoon, August 30th @ 1:00p.m. You will soon receive an invitation to our open house which is scheduled on September 21st from 6:00-7:30 p.m.Also, students will be bringing home a packet of forms for parents to fill out ( emergency information, permission slips, etc.). Please return these with your child to the main office by Friday, September 3rd. Thank you.
